Co-operatives North West Directory now available - A handy A5 directory of 360 known co-operatives in the North West. The fascinating 40 page listing is the place to find a wide range of quality products and services supplied by co-ops – from agriculture to transport, and from the cradle to the grave. The Sixth Principle of co-ops is “Co-operation among co-operatives” – the principle that inspired this directory. The more that people and organisations trade with co-ops, the stronger the sector becomes. Business Development Manager - Mick Sheldon Sadly Co-ops North West has to report that our contract with Mick Sheldon has come to an end. Mick was appointed Business Development Manager when Jo Bird gave up the post to pursue other business interests in April 2010. Mick brought some fresh ideas to his work and remains committed to what Co-ops NW is about but unhappily our path are diverging and we have ended the contract by mutual agreement. CNW wishes Mick well in whatever his business takes him to next.
In the meantime the Directors of CNW, ably supported by our project manager, Barbara Davidson, will take up the outstanding tasks. Ann Marie Wrigley, Chair. CNW.
